Mike Cavanah
Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President of Business Development, Mike Cavanah has successfully negotiated, developed, and implemented programs for all major carrier accounts. His efforts have resulted in substantial increases in customer revenues and profits.
In his 20 years with the company, Mike oversaw both the sales and marketing departments from 1992 until 2007 during which he managed the development and integration of Superior's sales, marketing and supply chain teams. Under his direction, these teams were able to provide carrier-targeted support services that include account management, field support, training, and marketing and supply chain initiatives. Beginning in 2008, Mike's responsibilities shifted towards business development where he was able to spearhead and develop key strategies for Superior's expansion into the Latin American and Canadian markets. He was also instrumental in the operations restructure of the indirect sales channel.
In addition to his responsibilities as EVP, Mike is the General Manager for PureGear, an independent division of Superior, and is responsible for product development strategies, marketing, advertising, web/social media and sales.
Prior to joining Superior, Mike was the National Sales Manager for National Wholesale Distributors, Inc., the handset distributor for OKI Telecom, Mitsubishi, and Panasonic. From 1988-1992, Mike oversaw the company's five West Coast offices. Between1985-1988, Mike owned and was the Vice President of Select Marketing, representing manufacturers for the wireless industry, including Mitsubishi and Larson Antenna.
